Letter Regarding Investments in the Becker Brewing and Malting Company (1 of 2), 1894

This letter to Gustav Becker concerns the investments made by F. Madlener in the Becker Becker Brewing and Malting Company. Mr. Madlener had invested $2,600 in the Becker Brewing and Malting Company by 1894. This letter also included a loan to Gustav Becker for $600. Raising capital funds was essential for the Becker's in the early years of their brewery. By receiving funding from both Eastern and local investors, they were able to modernize and increase the size of their brewing facilities.
