Warranty Deed to the Schellhas Brewing Company (2 of 2), 1891

This deed records the lots purchased by William Schellhas of the Schellhas Brewing Company from Matthew S. Browning and M. A. Browning in 1891. William Schellhas was a business partner of the Becker family when they resided in Winona, Minnesota. William Schellas established the Schellhas Brewing Company along the Ogden River in 1890. A few years later he sold his shares in the company to Gustav Becker and the Schellhas Brewing Company became the Becker Brewing and Malting Company.
