Mrs Albert B Barton in her garden

Mrs. Albert B. Barton, Kaysville, Relief Society President, and her husband who is a Davis County Commissioner, cooperated with the Agricultural and Home Demonstration Agents in making the home garden project the type that could be used for County Demonstration garden. This garden was planned by the agents and J.C. Hogenson, Extension Agronomist, and was planted by Mr. & Mrs. Barton according to the plan given them. You will note the picture makes the use of farm implements for cultivation possible by the long row system.
