The early history of Cache Valley, written by Henry Ballard and Ralph Smith fifty years after the settlement of Logan, Utah, and later part of the papers of the late Dr. Franklin D. Daines; and transcribed into typescript on June 22, 1955. Describes the earliest days of the settlement of Logan in Cache Valley from May 6, 1859 to April 2, 1860.
