Student Perceptions of Topaz High

This is an excerpt from "Japanese American Youth in Topaz Relocation Center, Utah: An Oral History," which is a thesis written by Akiko J. Tohmatsu in 1994. In this thesis, Tohmatsu interviews several Japanese American students who attended Topaz High, as well as their teachers. This excerpt includes several responses from Japanese American students relating to Topaz High. They discuss the quality of education and what was difficult about school at Topaz.
