Letter from the William Uhlmann and Company to the Becker Brewing and Malting Company, 1917

This letter discusses the prohibition bill passed in Utah and a similar measure that was considered in California. The letter also contains a paragraph about placing an order of hops for the short time in which the Becker's could continue to produce beer. This letter shows that prohibition was a national trend and that it impacted many businesses, such as farmers, in addition to brewers, distillers and liquor retailers.
