Title

Large Moore/Blum Bell (Image 5 of 5)

Description

View of a large Moore/Blum bell, which pre-dates the Civil War. The triangle fold of the metal on the top, the oval mouth, and two-riveted sides are characteristic of the earliest bells made. Decades of wear and makeshift repairs are visible. The collar is made from several plies of the inner fabric of a discarded conveyor belt.
