[ca. September 1911] Dearest Jack Following just rec'd. New York - 21st. Has first story of new series been mailed? Not yet received, answer collect. Roll and Phillips Mar. Cosmopolitan - Ianswered as follows - Mr London writes me - Aug. 16th "am today starting number seven ??? ??? series" - He has no doubt mailed same to you this date. I have forwarded your Telegram to Mr. London. Eliza Shepard Glen Ellen. Wonders! Mrs. Chaunch? has just left - she came to consult me about pulling a ??? out of her cottage and wanted me to act as her ally - what do you know about that?
