Ms. Elisaida Méndez talks about her childhood and traditions in her native Puerto Rico, her move to the United States, for a teaching job in New York, her education, including a Master’s Degree in Phycology from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and her pursuit of a doctorate degree in Combined Phycology at Utah State University in Logan, Utah. She also talks about the great importance of her parents in her life and her pride at being a Puerto Rican woman.
