Title

Laura interview October 6, 2007

Description

Laura talks about her difficult and poor childhood in Mexico where she had to work from an early age to help her family, traditions like Day of the Dead, Christmas and Three Kings Day and burial customs; and her marriage. She talks about her husband getting sick from coming through the sewers to enter the U.S. and her dangerous journey to the United States. She also tells us about her father's death, about raising her children in the U.S. and her desire for them to get an education; and her conversion to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Utah and her religious beliefs.
