Maureen Patricia Winn talks about her childhood and family life in Bolivia with her parents. She talks about her early years at different schools and cities in Bolivia; her move to the U.S. to study and Ricks College (now Brigham Young University Idaho) and Utah State University; about adapting to life in the U.S., her two masters degrees (Social Work and Early Intervention ) and her wish to go on to a Ph.D. She also discusses how she met her husband and compares how she raises her two children with her own childhood; and about her father’s death while visiting in the US and her mother choosing to stay in Utah to live with her and help with her children.
