Mr. Eduardo Ortiz talks about his childhood in a little Ecuadoran village in Los Andes called Alausí, his law studies in Quito, his job as a lawyer, his move to the United States to study business (in which he earned a master’s degree) and now sociology (he is completing a PhD), and his interest in the American nation and culture. The interview also includes his reflections and anecdotes about discrimination in the United States as well as how he met his wife and her importance in his life.
