John Taylor, the third president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (a church formerly known by nicknames like Mormon and LDS), died in 1887. His funeral’s programme shows a traditional Victorian era design of simple black and cream decorations and lists the procession of events as well as the prayers and hymns to be sung at the tabernacle.
