CONCLUSION: HOW TO GET INVOLVED

Cache County School District is doing well at currently using local sources from Salt Lake City to provide the fruits, vegetables and other canned produce for the school lunch program. There is still much room for growth within the district. Increased social awareness and economic change are the first steps to take in order to make that change come to fruition. As the public takes responsibility to advocate for utilization of more local markets and healthier options, then the foodshed of the Cache County School District will truly begin to see a change.
