Gordon and Terri Kaufman

Gordon (February 24, 1922–December 10, 2005) and Terri Kaufman (April 12, 1926–August 27, 2008) were both active in Ogden as business owners and members of Congregation Brith Sholem. Gordon had immense experience as a jeweler, with over twenty-four years of experience by 1971. He managed Nation Morgan Jewelers during the 1950s to 1960s and was the store manager for Schubach Jewelers. In 1979 Gordon and Terri opened their own jewelry store, Kaufman Jewelers, in Eccles Plaza.

In the summer of 1984, Terri Kaufman was elected as president of Congregation Brith Sholem. Terri was the first woman to obtain this role at the congregation, which she held until 1986.[1]
