Rev. Elaine Breckenridge became the first female vicar of St. John's in 1994. She was followed by an interim vicar, Dan Webster, and then Rev. Ruth Eller, Rev. Susan Springer, Rev. Stephen Sturgeon, and the current vicar, Rev. Jason Samuel.

In 2004, Rev. Ruth Eller oversaw a renovation and expansion of the chapel and vicarage of St. John's. (1,2) This renovation incuded shifting a second historic building fifty feet to allow for an expansion of the sanctuary, the construction and reinforcement of the original timbers and masonry, and the creation of an updated administrative office and  fellowship hall.

The many efforts of the current congregation and the clergy that serve them are well documented in the news and announcements of St. John's Episcopal Church. The clergy and communicants of St. John's have always had the best intentions toward their neighbors and community.

The congregation of St. John's is led by Rev. Jason Samuel, who has strengthened the community with efforts to reach out to the USU student body, the LGBTQ+ community in Cache Valley, and a strong interdenominational coalition that supports its members in many ways.
